How Our Students Built a Real Website in 12 Sessions

When Kwame enrolled in CodeBridge Africa's Adults Web Development programme in May, he had never written a single line of code. Three months later, he launched his own business website.

The 12-Session Journey

Sessions 1–3: HTML fundamentals — structure, headings, links, images.

Sessions 4–6: CSS styling — layouts, colours, responsive design for mobile.

Sessions 7–9: JavaScript basics — interactivity, forms, simple animations.

Sessions 10–12: Deployment and real projects — using Vercel to put their sites live on the internet.

Student Outcomes

Of our last cohort of 20 students:

18 completed and deployed a live website

8 started freelancing within 2 months of graduation

3 got hired for junior web development roles
