Terms of Use

By accessing or using the CodeBridge Africa website (codebridgeafrica.com), creating an account, buying from our store, or enrolling in any of our programs or online courses, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

CodeBridge Africa provides coding education, learning products and IT services, including:

• Live coding programs: Coding for Kids, Teens Coding, High School Bridge, Adults Web Development and Fullstack Developer

• Holiday bootcamps, coding parties, and school, church and company workshops

• CodeBridge Online — self-paced online courses with quizzes, projects and certificates

• The CodeBridge Store — ebooks, colouring books, printed books, kits, merchandise and gift vouchers

• Corporate training and professional IT services for businesses

• Scholarships, sponsored places and a referral programme

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any program, course, product or service at any time with reasonable notice.

Enrolment is confirmed only upon receipt of payment or an explicit written confirmation from CodeBridge Africa.

• Monthly plans are billed at the beginning of each month

• Full payments must be received before the program start date

• Spots are limited and not guaranteed until payment is confirmed

• Payment details must be accurate and up to date

Online payments are processed by Paystack (card and mobile money). A transaction fee and service fee are added to the amount and shown to you at the payment prompt before you pay. We also accept bank transfer and other methods communicated during enrolment.

If you choose a monthly plan and save your card or mobile money account, you authorise us to charge it automatically each billing month until the plan ends or you cancel. You can cancel at any time before the next billing date by contacting us.

Coupons, referral credits and discounts apply only as stated, cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be combined unless we say so.

All prices are quoted and charged in Ghana Cedis (GHS) only. If you pay with a card issued outside Ghana, your bank may convert the amount and charge its own fees.

We want every student to succeed. For live programs, our refund policy is as follows:

• Full refund: available if you cancel before the first class session

• Partial refund: available if you cancel within the first week of a program (pro-rated)

• No refund: after the second class session has been attended

Online courses are delivered instantly, so they are non-refundable once you have opened a paid (non-preview) lesson, unless the course is faulty or not as described. Store refunds are covered in section 7.

Payment processing fees charged by Paystack are not refundable. Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to info@codebridgeafrica.com. Approved refunds are processed within 7 business days.

For IT Services, refund terms are outlined in the individual service agreement.

CodeBridge Africa scholarships are partial: an award covers at most 45% of the programme fee, and the student or family pays the balance (which may be paid in instalments).

• Awards are made at our discretion based on financial need, commitment and community impact

• An award applies only to the programme and intake stated in your approval email, and is not transferable or exchangeable for cash

• We may withdraw an award if information in the application is found to be false, or if the student stops attending or paying the balance

Sponsored places funded by individuals or organisations are allocated to approved applicants. Sponsors receive updates on how their contribution is used but do not receive learners' private information without consent.

When you buy or are given access to an online course, you receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use it for your own learning.

• Your account is for you alone — do not share your login or course content

• Courses marked "free for students" are free only to currently enrolled CodeBridge students signed in with the email we hold on file

• Project submissions are reviewed by our teachers; quiz pass marks are set per course

• We may update course content over time, and will give reasonable notice before retiring a paid course

Prices are shown in GHS. Delivery fees depend on your delivery zone and are shown at checkout; free pick-up is available where offered.

• Digital products (ebooks, colouring books) are delivered by email. Download links stay valid for 30 days after payment and each file can be downloaded a limited number of times

• Digital products are for personal and classroom use only — do not resell or share them publicly

• Digital products are non-refundable once downloaded, unless the file is faulty

• Physical items: delivery times are estimates. Please report a damaged, wrong or missing item within 48 hours of delivery and we will replace it or refund you

• Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from purchase, can be used once towards program enrolment or store purchases, and cannot be exchanged for cash

Students and parents/guardians (for minors) agree to:

• Attend classes punctually and participate actively

• Provide their own devices meeting the minimum requirements communicated at enrolment

• Maintain a stable internet connection for online sessions

• Treat instructors, interns and fellow students with respect

• Not share class materials, recordings, or login credentials with non-enrolled individuals

CodeBridge Africa reserves the right to remove a student from a program without refund if they engage in disruptive, abusive, or dishonest behaviour.

CodeBridge Africa runs an internship programme in business development, marketing, accounting, web development and fullstack development. Interns help grow the business, assist in our classes and contribute to client projects.

• Interns who support classes always work under the supervision of a lead instructor and never teach children unsupervised

• Interns access student and client information only as their role requires, and must keep it confidential

• Interns who contribute to client projects do so under the direction of our team, which remains responsible for the work delivered

Internships are learning placements, not employment. The duration, schedule, any allowance and other conditions are set out in a written internship agreement. Work created by interns during their internship belongs to CodeBridge Africa (or to the client, where a service agreement says so), and interns may show it in their portfolio only with our permission.

All content on the CodeBridge Africa website and platforms — including text, graphics, logos, curriculum materials, online courses, videos, books and course notes — is the property of CodeBridge Africa and is protected by applicable copyright laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission. Students may retain personal copies of materials provided during enrolment for their own learning. Students own the projects they create; with consent, we may feature them in our student showcase.

Online sessions may be recorded for quality assurance and student review purposes.

• Students will be notified before any recording begins

• Recordings are shared only with enrolled students in that class

• Students must not distribute, re-upload, or share recordings publicly

By enrolling in an online program, you consent to being present in class recordings. If you have concerns, please notify us before the session. How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Certificates of Completion for live programs are awarded to students who:

• Attend a minimum of 80% of scheduled sessions

• Complete all required projects and assessments

• Meet the criteria set by their instructor

Online course certificates are awarded when all lessons are completed, quizzes reach the course pass mark and required projects are approved. Every certificate has a number that can be verified on our website.

Certificates are for educational purposes only and do not constitute a professional or government-accredited qualification.

For professional IT services, separate service agreements govern the scope, deliverables, timelines, and payment terms. These Terms of Use apply generally; the service agreement takes precedence for project-specific matters. Our team, including supervised interns, may work on your project; all are bound by confidentiality.

We are not liable for data loss, downtime, or consequential damages arising from IT services unless explicitly stated in a signed service agreement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CodeBridge Africa shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services

• Technical failures beyond our control (internet outages, third-party platform downtime)

• Loss of data due to student device failure

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the program, course or product in question.

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.
